2nd Annual Standing Up for Mothers and Babies Awards Dinner will be held Thursday September 30, 2010 at the Coronado Ballroom (complimentary valet parking available). Cocktails served at 5:30 p.m. Dinner and Awards Ceremony 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Tickets are priced at 2009 levels - $75 and a table for 10 is $750.

Save the Date! - In recognition of Infant Mortality Awareness Month, the Prenatal and Infant Wellness Collaborative, with the MCFHC will host a free Summit Wednesday September 15, 2010 from 8:30 am – 3 pm.
   The Summit will be a call to action to coordinate services and improve access to early and regular care for pregnant women. Featured speakers include Jacqueline Turner, MD and Jose Reyes, Ed.D., LPC. Stay tuned for more details.

On July 29th the MCFHC hosted a meeting for its partners to learn about Health Care Reform and provisions that may impact the health of women and children. The presenters’ slides are now available for download.
